About the founder of adapt intervention services

Jayla Weaver is the founder and CEO of Adapt Intervention Services, a certified speech-language pathologist with extensive experience treating individuals across the lifespan. She provides high-quality therapy both in-person and through teletherapy, ensuring accessible care for all clients.

Jayla has worked in a variety of clinical settings, including acute care hospitals, outpatient rehabilitation clinics, Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care (PPEC) facilities, and schools. Her expertise includes working with early intervention (birth to age 3) for speech and language development, as well as treating preschoolers and language-delayed clients, stroke survivors, and those with neurodegenerative diseases (including Parkinson’s, ALS, and multiple sclerosis).

Her passion lies in helping medically complex clients and young children in early intervention reach their fullest potential by overcoming communication, feeding, and swallowing challenges to maximize their independence and quality of life. Jayla is committed to providing personalized, evidence-based therapy tailored to each client’s unique needs.

Jayla is a certified speech-language pathologist, licensed in Georgia and Virginia, with over five years of clinical experience. She specializes in Early Intervention, pediatric feeding and swallowing, adult cognitive-communication disorders and swallowing therapy, and professional communication. Jayla holds a Master’s in Speech-Language Pathology from Jacksonville University and a Bachelor’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders from The University of West Georgia.

Her expertise spans a variety of speech and language challenges, and she is passionate about helping individuals improve their communication and swallowing abilities to enhance their quality of life. Jayla provides personalized, evidence-based therapy tailored to each client’s unique needs and integrates parent and caregiver coaching to support progress beyond therapy sessions.

She has also presented research on communication disorders at national and state conferences and was honored with the 2021 American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Distinguished Early Career Professional Award.
